从进入南京大学配位化学国家重点实验室读研至今,一直从事功能配合物的研究,以及单晶X射线衍射仪、粉末X射线衍射仪、比表面吸附仪的操作和数据分析。在功能配合物的合成、结构表征、数据分析以及新型AIEgens设计合成及生物应用等方面均积累了较丰富的经验。有多篇论文在Inorg. Chem., CrystEngComm, J. Coord. Chem., New J. Chem., J. Mater. Chem. B, Sci. China Mater., Mater. Chem. Front.等国际重要学术期刊上发表。《结构化学》技术编辑顾问,精通Shelxtl / Olex2结构精修,结构精修代表作:专著《单晶X射线衍射结构解析》;专述Disordered Fragments of Chemical Structures Based on Single-crystal X-ray Diffraction。主持国家自然科学基金等多个项目。
